Usually an investor is putting money into an asset with the expectation of capital appreciation, dividends and/or interest earnings. The trader is the one that has the role to "play" with the assets in a way to produce the earnings for the investor, being remunerated with a percentage of the profits obtained. TradingFloorFx is looking for investors to be the traders and the traders to be the investors.
If there exists Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and several other cryptocoins with no central bank or any other authority to control them and still people to trust them, why isn't possible to create the first hedge funds with no authority to control them except the investors/traders themselves? They will be controlled by their founders as they will also be traded by them. It's clear that a person who open a trading account and deposits 50$-100$ has no chance in the market. It's only a matter of time until he will clear his account. But if 100 traders puts together 100$ and create a 10000$ hedge fund and trade this funds guided by strict rules they not only can defeat some of their "enemies" but increases their chances to obtain good profits. Let's put it like this: with 100$ account using high leverage you can trade 0.10 lots and if you nail a 50 pips trade you gonna win 50$ but if you are wrong you gonna receive a "margin call" from your broker in the next 10 minutes after you placed the trade. Does the reward worth the risk? Is so incommensurate in my opinion. With 10000$ account you can place the same trade of 50 pips trading 1 lot. The profit will be 500$ but if it goes against you and lose let's say 200$ (using a 2% risk management) the fund will still have 9800$ to go on. Until the margin call will "ring" it's a long way in this case.
